First Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday everyone! Are you excited for the weekend? I know I am. I have a lot of great posts planned for the next couple of weeks, but I kept thinking of these little random things that I wanted to share. They didn’t really have a place in any of my other posts and couldn’t really stand alone as their own posts. Then I realized, I have these little random thoughts pretty frequently. My brain is filled with little thoughts that could be parts of different blog posts.

Sooo…. I decided to start a new series here on the blog! Each Friday I am going to share a few of my recent favorite things. I knew I wanted to start a series, then it hit me when I saw Kathleen from Carrie Bradshaw Lied’s post about her Friday Five, where she recapped her week in five points. I loved it and thought I could modify it to work for what I was trying to accomplish! So here we go!

My Plant Babies: Over the past six months or so, I have become what I lovingly refer to as a crazy plant lady. As of today, we have 21 plants inside our 2-bedroom apartment (and a few more outside). This week, we got four new plants; three hanging and our first big floor plant. I love them and they are like my little pets.

Swing Dress

Old Navy Swing Dresses: These sweet little dresses will probably be a forever favorite. They are so comfortable and versatile! I can wear them casually when I am working from home. I can wear them out running errands. Or I can dress them up with a jacket scarf and wedges for a night out. Plus, they are super affordable! (Don’t mind my mirror selfie and crazy hair #reallife)

Momiji Sushi: I am going to start doing more posts about some of my favorite Seattle spots, but Momiji stands out as a long time favorite (and recent date night spot)! I started coming here before I even moved to Seattle, but have continued to love it after the move! They also have a great happy hour that lets us eat really yummy sushi on a budget!

Sweat: I talked about this on my Instagram (you don’t follow me? well head on over and do that ASAP!) this week and can confidently say I really like this app! I have done a few workouts this week and have felt so good after each one. Granted I have been a bit sore the next day, but still great! I also love that the workouts are designed specifically for women!

I have a fulfilled weekend ahead of me… happy hour tonight, Hall & Oates concert tomorrow, farmers market on Sunday! Do you have fun plans for the weekend? Let me know down below! Talk to you all next week! Until next time, friends… CMB
