I try to eat salad pretty much everyday for lunch. Obviously I go rouge sometimes and eat barbecue (bless you Commissary), but I try to eat salad every day. With that being said, I gotta mix up the ways I eat my lettuce or I will get really bored. I have a million different salads that I make and I am going to share them over the next few weeks. Up this week, is a yummy breakfast style salad.
Breakfast Salad
An easy and delicious option for breakfast or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 container Mixed Green
- 4 Hard Boiled Eggs
- 4-6 strips Bacon (crumbled)
- 1 Avocado
- 1 cup Strawberries (chopped)
- 4-6 tbsp Goat Cheese (crumbled)
- 6 tbsp Poppyseed Dressing
Instructions
- So first, you are going to hard boil 4 eggs and cook 4-6 strips of bacon. Once everything is cooled, crumble that bacon.
- Now slice up the hard boiled eggs and avocado and strawberries.
- Finally it's time to combine all of the things (a.k.a. the mixed greens, egg, avocado, strawberries and bacon). Add in some poppyseed dressing to taste.
