Wednesday Wishlist | Summer Dresses

I cannot believe it is already summer. I was pleasantly surprised with our beautiful sunny weather in Seattle over MDW and am so excited for the rest of summer. I have already started living in dresses now that it isn’t raining so much and don’t plan to stop any time soon. There are so many cute dress options for any occasion out there right now.

During the day I tend to gravitate toward either a babydoll-ish dress or flowy maxi/midi dress just because they are SO comfortable and easy to do almost anything in. This tiered t-shirt dress looks so comfortable and the perfect mint green color. I am also obsessed with this paisley puff-sleeve dress and this striped puff-sleeve dress. Both are so cute and perfect for running errands around town.

I have been maxi dress obsessed over the past couple of years. Because I am so short, most midi dresses end up being maxi dresses on me. I am just fine with that, lol. This smocked gingham dress and this smocked sage green dress both look so comfortable and would be perfect for an afternoon hanging out on a patio somewhere. I also love this plaid tiered dress and stiped button-up options. Both can be more casual when paired with sneakers or sandals or dresses up with a pair for espadrille heels.

If I want to feel a little more put together but still feel casual, a shirt dress is my absolute favorite. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a classic blue in white stripe. I have this dress in the white version and absolutely love it. This one has the most magical hydrangea floral pattern that I am pretty obsessed with. I also love the art deco pattern of this shirt dress.

I had to include a couple of more dressy options. As of today both my husband and I are fully vaccinated and I cannot wait to get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner. I love how elegant this navy maxi dress is. The collar and cut of the dress are just perfection. These two floral numbers (option 1option 2) from Reformation are both gorgeous have a hint of a vintage feel, which I love. Lastly, you can never go wrong with a classic navy shift dress for a dressier daytime event.
