Labor Day Tablescape

Labor Day is fast approaching… only a couple of days away. This one will certainly look different than many in the past. That doesn’t mean you can’t make your own quarantine fun. Personally, one of the things I have missed during quarantine is putting together a good party. Figuring out the food, designing the decorations, so on and so on. I decided I wanted to do something that still played into that love while not putting anyone else or myself at risk. So a table scape for a party I will not be having it is.

I wanted something simple that still felt like a bit of summer. I found these blue toile paper plates back in June and knew I wanted to use them for this tables cape. I also already had the tablecloths, red check plates, napkins and silverware. Because this was more of a fun project to keep me occupied rather than actually prepping for a BBQ, I didn’t want have to buy that many supplies. I also knew I wanted to use candles for the centerpiece instead of flowers. It has started getting dark out earlier and earlier, so it seemed like a natural choice.

This was such a fun project and table scape to put together. I can’t wait for fall to get here so I can do another one! Until next time, friends… CML
