Earrings are by far my favorite type of jewelry. Always has been. I rarely wear bracelets. I have like three necklaces I rotate between and wear the same rings every day. Earrings are where I get to have a little fun. I love a big bold earring or a play on something simple. Anything that adds a little drama to an otherwise simple outfit.

One of my favorite types of earrings are ones that seem simple but have some sort of twist to make them a bit more fun. I love the braided detail that surrounds the pearls on these earrings and these hoop earrings. The hammered metal on these hoop earrings is such a fun, subtle detail. These types of earrings are the ones I go for on a day to day basis.
Whenever I want something a bit bolder, I tend to gravitate toward some sort of a beaded earring. These ginger jar earrings and bow earrings are both from The Tiny Tassel, which is a female, black-owned business. Honestly, I had to hold myself back from putting even more of their earrings on this list.
